BitLife: All Ribbons and How To Get Them (2024)

Did you know that there are 40 Ribbons in BitLife? Each ribbon describes your life, and you obtain it when your character dies. It will appear on the corner of their gravestone and tell you exactly how they lived their life. Whether it’s as a Family Guy, Lustful, or just plain unlucky, there’s a Ribbon for everybody. Ribbons are a bit tricky since there’s no real way to ensure you get the ribbon, but rather, a whole bunch of ways. Let’s take a look at what you can do to improve your chances of obtaining every Ribbon in BitLife.

Every Ribbon in BitLife

• Famous
  • Achieve fame in life.
  • Become famous by having a career that puts you above all the rest. You can become a model, a writer, an actor, a musician, or even a p*rn star. There are loads of possibilities, but whichever you choose must result in you gaining a fame bar below your other stats.
• Mediocre
  • Be completely ordinary.
  • Obtaining this Ribbon will require you to be as normal as possible. That said, avoid going to college, getting any sort of job that will make you famous, or even having kids. Stick to the plain Jane, everyday ordinary stuff.
• Wasteful
  • Fall short of your potential.
  • If you want to be wasteful, there are quite a few things you can do. First, get an impressive degree, like something in the medical field. Next, you should get a job that requires no degree and wastes all the hard effort you put into University. Doing actions like these that waste your character’s potential will ensure you get the Wasteful Ribbon.
• Monopoly
  • Buy houses and sell houses.
  • To get the Monopoly Ribbon, going into the real estate business would be a great idea. Purchase houses, fix them up, and sell them for a profit as often as possible throughout your character’s life. We were able to get the Monopoly Ribbon after purchasing and selling ten houses.
• Lustful
  • Be extremely promiscuous.
  • To get Lustful you have to be, well, lustful. Have as many girlfriends as you can. Accept those offers for one-night stands. Get down and dirty with all the ladies or guys, or even both. Have a good time, but make sure you put your sex life above all else.

• Loaded
  • Die insanely wealthy.
  • To get the Loaded Ribbon, you have to do more than get rich. You have to make millions or even billions of dollars throughout your character’s life. A great way to do this is by opening a museum and hitting up the various auctions offered in your area. More often than not, you’ll find very expensive items that you can flip for a huge profit.
• Rich
  • Die with a high net worth.
  • To get the Rich Ribbon in BitLife, you don’t necessarily need to have all the money in your bank account. You just need to be worth a lot. Your net worth includes all of your possessions, so having some nice houses, fancy cars, and even a plan or boat can help a ton.
• Teammate
  • BitLife doesn’t really tell us what we need to do to get the Teammate Ribbon. However, it’s not too difficult. You simply need to become an app developer for BitLife. Be born in Miami, study hard, get a degree in Computer Science, and work your way up to the position with hard work and persistence.
• Successful
  • Live a balanced, honest life.
  • This Ribbon’s requirements are pretty self explanatory. Be successful, but don’t do too much. Get a good job, a nice spouse and some kids, but don’t make so much money that you make it into one of the money Ribbons. Try to keep your overall net worth below 2 million dollars.
• Hero
  • Safe a life or die nobly.
  • For this Ribbon, you only need to save somebody’s life or die trying. That said, there are many times where you come across somebody in need or hurt. Rather than calling an ambulance, save them yourself.

• Stupid
  • Live a dumb, idle life.
  • To get the Stupid Ribbon, you need to try your hardest to not try at all. Avoid getting a job, drop out of high school, and just have overall horrible Smarts. Don’t do much of anything with your life, and definitely don’t amount to any sort of success.
• Unlucky
  • Die young and unfortunately.
  • This Ribbon is one of chance. Your character must have horrible luck. Every once in a while, your character will die young, and when that happens, you’ll get the Unlucky Ribbon.
• Scandalous
  • Spend a lot of time in prison.
  • To get the Scandalous Ribbon in BitLife, you should focus on leading a life of crime. However, rather than trying to be imprisoned several times, you want to get put in prison for a couple of very long sentences. That said, you’re going to want to commit serious crimes, like murder, and get caught red-handed.
• Academic
  • Complete a postgraduate education.
  • To get the Academic Ribbon, you just need to keep going back to school. After you graduate high school, go to University and get a degree, then go back for some more post-graduate learning. Finally, you can get a job at a school, which will increase your chances even more.
• Fertile
  • Spawn a lot of offspring.
  • For this Ribbon, all you need to do is have a ton of children. Well, not really a ton, but at least four or five of them. Spend your life being a good parent, and focusing more on your home life and family than anything else.

• Jailbird
  • Experience several stints in prison.
  • This ribbon is quite similar to the scandalous ribbon, but contrary to its requirements, we need to focus on being put in prison several times. Rather than committing larger crimes, we want to focus on the smaller ones that will only get a year or two and spend most of our character’s life in prison through short sentences.
• Lazy
  • Live an idle life.
  • For the Lazy Ribbon in BitLife, you should focus on not doing much of anything. Don’t get a job, don’t go to college, don’t have kids or get married. The less you do, you’ll have a much better chance of being considered lazy.
• Wicked
  • Be very cruel to others.
  • There’s a lot of confusion around what the Wicket Ribbon actually requires you to do, and we’ve finally confirmed it. In order to get the Wicked Ribbon, you need to father a child, refuse a paternity test on that child, and give its mother an STD.
• Mooch
  • Ask of others and never give back.
  • The easiest way to get the Mooch Ribbon is to get into a relationship and regularly ask your significant other for money without giving them anything in return.
• Rowdy
  • Live a life of debauchery.
  • The Rowdy Ribbon is a pretty fun one to try to get. To begin with, you should basically live in the club. The Nightlife should become your life. Never turn down free drugs and drinks, and always hit up frat parties if they’re available.

• Thief
  • Steal from others, frequently.
  • If you want to get the Thief Ribbon, you have to be okay with at least a few criminal acts. You should head into the Crime menu and utilize any option that allows you to steal anything, whether it’s a bank robbery, a burglary, or even just being a porch pirate. However, whatever you decide to do, you need to do it pretty regularly throughout your character’s life.
• Geriatric
  • Live for a very long time.
  • It won’t cut it to just live to 80 or 90 for the Geriatric Ribbon. You must get your character to live as old as possible, meaning well over 100 years old. Be sure to hit up the doctors pretty often, and stay healthy and active.
• Highroller
  • Earn a lot of money gambling.
  • Hit up the Blackjack tables any chance you get. You can also go to the races and bet on horses. Either way, you need to be bringing in well over a million dollars based on your gambles. Whatever you choose to do, make sure you know what you’re doing.
• Deadly
  • Be responsible for the deaths of others.
  • If you want to be Deadly, you’re going to have to cause some serious deaths. Use the Crime menu to commit murders, but be careful not to be caught. You don’t want to end up accidentally getting the Jailbird Ribbon instead.
• Family Guy
  • Be a loving, honest father.
  • To get the Family Guy Ribbon, you’ll need to be the best father and husband you can be. Keep an average job and spend your time with your wife and kids as much as possible. Don’t buy anything flashy or expensive, and try to keep your bank account in the ten thousands, rather than any higher.

• Cunning
  • Practice extreme Machiavellianism.
  • There are quite a few things you’ll have to do here. First, get sent to jail after committing a crime. Next, escape prison, then get gender reassignment surgery, and finally, emigrate to another country before you can get caught.
• Cat Lady
  • Be a spinster, surrounded by felines.
  • Adopt cats; like, a lot of them. You should have over 30 cats throughout your lifetime, and avoid having any other types of pets.
• Addict
  • Die with addictions.
  • You can be addicted to quite a few different things in BitLife, and for this Ribbon, you’ll need to have at least two different active addictions when you die. You can choose to be addicted to gambling, drugs, or even alcohol.
• Globetrotter
  • Set foot in many countries.
  • In order to get the Globetrotter ribbon when you die, you will need to travel to at least 20 different countries. You can do this by emigrating, taking vacations, or having honeymoons.
• Houdini
  • Escape from prison many times.
  • Before your character dies, you must be sent to prison and escape at least 10 different times. This is done by successfully solving maze puzzle minigames.

• Tarzan
  • Bond with exotic animals.
  • If you want to be Tarzan, then you have to be okay with the wild and exotic like he was. For this Ribbon, you’ll need to adopt and raise your relationship with several different exotic animals.
• Gold Digger
  • Get rich by marrying rich.
  • Using the dating app, set the net value of the spouse you’re looking for as high as it can go. From there, be sure to have high Looks and compliment and spend time with your significant other often so they will propose to and marry you.
• Movie Buff
  • Dedicate yourself to theater.
  • watch movies at the movie theater as often as you can, and every single year. Overall, you should watch at least 20 movies with the people close to you.
• Generous
  • Gift well and often.
  • To get the Generous Ribbon, you’ll need to give gifts to all your friends. Starting with a low-paying job, hand out cheap gifts until you can afford to give bigger gifts. Be sure to gift someone at least once per year and continue until your character dies.
• Barbie Girl
  • Go under many knives.
  • To get the Barbie Girl Ribbon, you’ll need to get loads of plastic surgery. Hopefully you’re not scared of needles. You’ll need to get at least 30 procedures, as long as they all count as plastic surgery. A great way to do this is to get a face lift or tummy tuck every year or two.

• Veteran
  • Serve a distinguished career in the military.
  • Get all 9 promotions offered, starting as an enlisted in the military.
• Influencer
  • Enjoy the life of a social media star.
  • Start off with a character who has high Health, Looks, and Smarts, then sign up for all the social media accounts. Post on each of them every year until you start to become famous from them.
• Model Bitizen
  • For this Ribbon, you must be born a female. Keep a great relationship with all your family members and keep their relationship bars amazed out. Study hard in school and work hard when you get a job for your entire life.
• Bandit
  • Live like an outlaw of old.
  • For this one, you’ll need to rob a train. Be sure to hit up the train station as close to the time listed in real life as possible.
• Big Boss
  • Finish your business career on top.
  • start a job in the business career path at an entry level and work your way up through the ranks to the CEO of a business. This one’s pretty easy because it’s difficult to not trigger any of the other Ribbons in the process.
